A team of British Petroleum Ltd visits Colombo Port

A managerial team of the British Petroleum Ltd., of the UK visited the Port of Colombo on 20th April 2017. The visit had been facilitated by the British High Commission of Sri Lanka in collaboration with Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).

During the visit the team made discussions with the Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) Mr. Dammika Ranatunge to seek possibilities to utilize infrastructure at the Port of Colombo for facilitating LNG at Colombo Port. The team also made a company presentation at the discussions.

The Team included, Mr. Michael Fernandopulle – Head of Trade and Investment, Ms. Asanthi Fernando – Deputy Head of Trade and Investment of the Department for International Trade of of the Department for International Trade of the British High Commission in Colombo, Mr. Chris Bramley – LNG Business Development Manager Integrated Supply & Trading –EH of the BP Singapore Pte Ltd; Mr. Richard Ellis – Engineering Manager – Gas & LNG Integrated Supply and Trading of the BP Gas Marketing Limited UK, Mr. John Boreman – LNG Assurance Superintendent LNG Marine Assurance of the BP Shipping Limited UK and Capt. Nitin Chaudhary – Marine Superintendent BP Shipping of the BP Singapore Pte. Limited in Singapore.
